Round 11 starts on Wednesday

The 1st part of the 2018/19 ABA League 2 regular season will be closed this week with the games of Round 11.

Everything will start on Wednesday, while the opening game of the round will be the clash between Split (5-5) and Helios Suns (4-6). The home side is in the pretty bad rhythm, as they suffered 3 consecutive defeats in the championship and therefore dropped out of the Playoffs zone. Still, Split now have a nice chance to get back on the winning path, as they are hosting the team which have lost all of their away games so far! Helios Suns have played 5 road games in the 2018/19 season and have lost all of them.

The next game takes us to Belgrade where Dynamic VIP PAY (4-6) are about to host Lovćen 1947 (6-4). Dynamic VIP PAY are in the same situation as Split – They have lost the previous 3 games in the league and they simply need to bounce back as soon as possible. However, unlike Split, the Belgrade side is facing a much more difficult challenge, as their opponents Lovćen 1947 are on a 4-win streak in ABA 2! The visitors have reached the Playoffs zone and they want to stay there as long as they can.

Wednesday schedule also brings us a local derby, as Rogaška (4-6) will face Sixt Primorska (10-0). This game will be very interesting, because Rogaška hold the perfect score at home court, winning all 4 games so far, but on the other side Sixt Primorska have won ALL of their games in the league and they are the only undefeated team in front of Round 11.

The last game of the day will be played in Nikšić, where Sutjeska (4-6) will host Borac (5-5). The home side have lost 4 games in a row in ABA 2, so they dropped to the 9th place on the standings. On the other side, we have a completely different situation, as Borac have won 4 out of their 5 previous games and they have moved up to the 5th place on the standings… Just outside the Playoffs zone. Therefore, we expect quite a battle in Nikšić on Wednesday evening.
