Round 9 continues on Wednesday evening

Wednesday evening brings us 4 games in ABA League 2, including the local derby in Belgrade and the big match in Split.

The opening game of the day will be the clash between Zrinjski and Helios Suns, who are currently both placed near the bottom of the standings.

Zrinjski have scored just 1 win so far in the season, while Helios Suns are slightly better with 3 wins in their overall score. There is no need to say that each team want to improve their results and this is a nice chance to get a valuable win… But only of them can get it.

We have a direct battle for the Playoffs this week, as 4th placed Split (5-3) host 6th placed Lovćen 1947 (4-4). The Yellow crew will play at home court, which is definitely a significant advantage. But, in this kind of games everything is possible.

In Belgrade, Dynamic VIP PAY will host Borac in a local derby. This is also a duel of two teams who want to finish the regular season among the top 4 teams on the standings. Currently, Dynamic VIP PAY (4-4) are in a slightly better position than Borac (3-5).

In the last match of the day, Rogaška (3-5) will face 2nd placed team on the standings – MZT Skopje Aerodrom (6-2). What is interesting about the current score of Rogaška is that this team have won all 3 games at home court, while they have lost all 5 away matches in the season. Now, they will try to keep that perfect home court record in the clash against MZT, who have scored just 1 away win so far in the championship.
