Mornar-Barsko zlato returned to the winning column after a hard-fought 80:76 home victory over Vršac Meridianbet in Round 3 of the 2025/26 AdmiralBet ABA League 2 regular season. The Bar side had to dig deep to secure this triumph, and they managed to do so thanks to the brilliant performance of their club legend Nemanja Vranješ, who turned back the clock with a spectacular 33-point display, including eight three-pointers.
The game itself was a real battle from start to finish. Both teams were neck and neck throughout, with neither side able to gain a significant advantage. Heading into the final minutes, Mornar-Barsko zlato led by just a single point - 66:65 - when Vranješ decided to take matters into his own hands.
In a vintage performance, the experienced guard exploded for 12 points in the last five minutes, sinking big shots from long range and showing why he remains one of the most dangerous shooters in the region.
With this result, Mornar-Barsko zlato improved to 2-1, bouncing back in style after their previous setback, while Vršac Meridianbet are still searching for their first win of the campaign and now stand at 0-3.
