ABA League Semi-finals, Round 2, Saturday, 30.3.2019:

PARTIZAN NIS – CRVENA ZVEZDA MTS

Where? Aleksandar Nikolić Hall, Belgrade

When? 19:00

Story of the game: The opener of the 2019 ABA League Playoffs has been spectacular to say the least, as the Belgrade rivals have clashed in Aleksandar Nikolić Hall in the overtime thriller, where the red and white in the end came out on top and took the 1:0 lead in the series.

Now, it’s heading in front of Partizan NIS fans and the black and white will do everything in their powers to try and tie the series at 1:1 and force the game three, where anything would be possible again.

They will, however, need to show a bit more than all three times this season that they have faced Crvena zvezda mts in the ABA League, as they have suffered three defeats so far. Can they do it? Let’s wait and see.

Let’s mention also that the team that wins on Saturday will take the lead in the all-time head to head clashes of the Belgrade rivals, as the teams have so far met 38 times and grabbed 19 triumphs apiece.

Match-up in focus: In the opening game of the Semi-final series, Vanja Marinković and Dejan Davidovac shined for their teams even though they were not the players with the most focus on before the game. Marinković scored 20 points and Davidovac 18. Can they find themselves in the limelight again and who will come out on top in the end?

Head to head in the regional league: In total 19:19; At Partizan NIS’ home court 11:9.
