Game recap: Mega Bemax have defeated FMP in the last ABA League game in 2019. This was a very important win for the Pink troops, as they are trying really hard to escape the relegation zone. Mega Bemax now have the same overall score as Zadar and Igokea (3-10) and those three teams are holding the last three sports on the 2019/20 ABA League standings.
On the other side, FMP suffered a major setback in the Playoffs race with this defeat, but they will still finish the year in the Top 4 zone with the overall score of 8-5.
Key moments: The score was all tied – 84:84 – with one-and-a-half minute remaining on the game clock. Mega Bemax had the ball possession, still their captain Edin Atić missed the shot. Luckily for the home team, their best player this evening Marko Simonović made the crucial offensive rebound and got fouled. He made both free throws for 86:84, while couple of moments later, after Mega Bemax managed to defend their basket, Marko Simonović was once again got fouled and he once again made both free throws – 88:84. In the remaining 30 seconds of the match, Mega Bemax players made their free throws and have therefore kept their lead until the end.
Man of the match: Marko Simonović is playing better and better every week! This 20-year old center shined this evening as he scored 26 points and caught 12 rebounds. His overall index rating was 35!
