Sutjeska down Split in Round 8 opener

SUTJESKA - Split 78:59 (26:21, 11:10, 22:15, 19:13)
After suffering two defeats in a row in the 2019/20 ABA 2 regular season, Sutjeska have bounced back by scoring a convincing win against Split at home court.
Two guards Nikola Pavlićević and Draško Knežević led the home side toward this valuable win. Pavlićević was the top scorer of Sutjeska with 22 points, while he also had 6 assists and 4 steals. Knežević finished the match with 16 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. It is also worth mentioning the performance of Sutjeska forward Marko Ćalić who made 12 rebounds in tonight’s game.
On the other side, Toni Perković and Pavle Marčinković were the top scorers of Split with 10 points each.
Sutjeska will spend the night at the 2nd place on the standings with the overall score of 5-3, whie Split are currently holding the 6th spot with the score 3-5.
