Battle of the Top 4
It’s time for another ABA 2 week!

It’s time for another ABA 2 week! And this one should be very, very interesting, as the top 4 teams on the standings will face each other in the upcoming round.
But, first things first. The Round 8 will start on Tuesday evening with the game between Sutjeska and Split. Both sides are on a two-game losing streak in ABA 2, so they are fully motivated to win this match and get back on the winning path.
Wednesday schedule will start with a true basketball spectacle in Čačak. Leader of the standings Borac will host 3rd placed team on the standings Helios Suns! Each side has won the previous 3 games in the season, while we are about to see whose winning streak will continue this week.
After scoring that big away win against Sutjeska in the previous round, Rogaška will now host Lovćen 1947 Bemax. What is interesting to mention about this game is that Lovćen 1947 Bemax haven’t triumphed on the away courts so far in this season. The boys from Cetinje have played 4 games on the road and they have lost all of them.
Spars are still the only winless team in the league, while this week they will host Dynamic VIP PAY who suffered all 4 defeats on the road so far in the season. Someone will break its losing streak…
Sloboda will host Novi Pazar in the last match of Wednesday schedule. The two league newcomers have the same overall score, so it will be interesting to see who will prevail in their direct clash.
Finally, the second clash of the “Top 4 battle” will be played on Thursday evening. MZT Skopje Aerodrom will host Široki and the hosts will try to keep their perfect score at home court in this season. MZT have won all 4 games so far in Skopje, while Široki have won 1 out of 3 road games so far in the 2019/20 journey.
