Game recap: All quiet on the Western front! Crvena zvezda mts have grabbed 20th win of the season with another convincing performance on the road in Zadar in the 21st round of the ABA League season and stay firmly seated on the first place of the regional competition with one round to be played in the regular season. On the other side, Zadar continue their season with seven wins on their record, which puts them just one win above the very bottom of the standings and they will have a tough job in the last round, where they will need to beat Igokea on the road in order to stay calm with their goal to avoid the danger zone at the end of the regular season.

Key moments: At the beginning of the 16th minute, the teams were tied for the last time at the score of 25:25, but then Crvena zvezda mts pulled away with 8:1 run and took a 33:26 lead with a minute and a half left in the first half of the game. As it turned out later, Zadar did not manage to threaten their lead again until the end. Furthermore, Zvezda scored no less than 35 points in the third quarter alone, going to the last quarter break with a lead of 72:48!

Man of the match: Young gun Boriša Simanić shined in Višnjik with an all-around performance and a double double! He finished the game with 10 points, just as many rebounds, 1 assist and a valuation of 17. He is our man of the match.

Can’t trick the stats: Was there any statistical category where Zvezda weren’t a better of the two teams this time around? Stats certainly don’t lie.
