Thursday’s schedule in ABA 2 – Spars and MZT battling for the 2nd spot, Vršac host Zrinjski

The last two games of Round 11 will be played on Thursday.

Perhaps one of the most interesting games this week is the clash between Spars (7-3) and MZT Skopje Aerodrom (7-3). As you can see, the two teams have the same overall score and they are currently sharing the 2nd and the 3rd spot on the standings.
But, after this round, one of them will stand all alone at the 2nd position.

Spars will certainly have the advantage, as they will be playing this game at home court. So far, they have won 3 out of their 4 home games in ABA 2. On the other side, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have triumphed just once on the road in the previous part of the season.

The second game of the day is the clash between the two last placed teams on the standings – Vršac (1-9) vs. Zrinjski (3-7). The home team have suffered 7 consecutive defeats in the season and their fans hope that the time has finally come to stop that awful streak. However, although the visitors have just a slightly better score, it must be said that Zrinjski have won two games in a row in ABA 2 and they are coming to Vršac in very high spirits.
