Sixt Primorska have beaten Krka in the local derby of the top of the standings and scored their 14th win of the ABA League 2 season. The squad, led from the bench by Jurica Golemac have now mathematically secured themselves a spot at the 2018 ABA League 2 Final Four tournament, which will take place in Čačak. On the other side, Krka remain with 143 wins on their record, 2 more than their rivals of Rogaška and Zrinjski, which share the 5th spot and need one more win in the last two rounds to book their Final Four ticket.

The hosts have deservedly taken a new pair of points, as they have quickly pulled away and were leading 23:14 after the first quarter. They have maintained their advantage throughout the game and even though Krka threatened to make a major comeback in the end, they have celebrated the win with the final score of 16:19.
